THINGS I WANT TO DO THAT I CAN DO ON THE PC BUT I CAN'T DO ON AN APPLE ][...
a. Use it to capture ASCII data on a serial port in the background
    (i.e. for news-wire application)
b. Run Disney's "Coaster" software
c. Run the program "Theme Park".

THINGS I WANT TO DO THAT I CAN DO ON A MACINCRASH THAT I CAN'T DO ON AN
APPLE ][...

a. Run Mosaic or Netscape
b. Use a TCP/IP connection

That means that everything else I want to do...hypermedia, word
processing, number crunching, telecommunications, desktop publishing,
database management, BASIC programming, 6502 programming...I can do on an
Apple ][. I'm even thinking about buying a //c so that I can have a
portable machine as well.

Notice that except for (a) under the PC, all the IMPORTANT things I do
with a computer are handled with the Apple ]['s. The only Micro$oft
program I have to deal with is BASIC; there hasn't been an operating
system upgrade for DOS 3.3 since about 1983; GS/OS is far more stable than
MS-DOS, Windoze, or MacOS/System 7...

What more could one want? Okay, a GS version of "Coaster" would be nice...

(The PC at my one job crashed unexpectedly today while I was on-line via
modem. The Macintosh at my other job bombed on me while I was running
Netscape. My GS has never crashed unexpectedly when running comm software!)
