As far as I know, three things are required for MultiScribe to run on a 
IIe: 128K or more or RAM, 65c02 and enhanced ROMs, and the Revision A 
motherboard (for DHR support). A Mouse is highly recommended but not 
essential if I remember correctly. I ran MultiScribe successfully on a 
IIe without any problems.

BTW: the 8-bit MultiScribe does not run on a IIgs - you need BeagleWrite 
(which is just MultiScribe in a skin). Of course, there are also 
GS-specific versions of both programs as well.
