Here Here! I just loved this post. I almost hirt myself laughing. This
is the way I've felt about most all GUI! The Mac <spit> OS ought to
start up saying "You're an idiot!"

Eeek! OS/2! I helped a friend solve an OS/2 problem once. Granted I'd
never user OS/2 before but was overwhelmed by it not so easy setup.
Admittedly this was 2.1 so maybe it has improved since then. Windows
ain't bad enev though there are some things about it that get on my
nerves. I get use to it. Also I know a person beta testing Windows 95
and he likes it. Now he is a picky guy so if he likes it it must be an
improvement. Not to mention NT and Linux as other alturnatives to OS
for this changing computer world. I know you hate Micro$oft. Huh! I had
a friend at church who swore to kick Micro$oft out of the company he
worked at. Recently he had to admit he had to start using Windows. <snicker>
Just to mention PowerPC, as some on another news group put it, "It's
still a Mac!" <spit>

Oh so very true! What we can accomplish in 256k (64k in older versions)
of RAM for AppleWorks takes 4megs. on many other machines.

: Apple ][ machines are still viable computing platforms, even today. It

Oh I've been toying with the idea of getting a PC clone of some sort.
But at the moment I have no money so I play with my mother's 486/33 color
notebook. I like the idea of a notebook BUT for what I'd want on the
inside I'm better off with a desktop!

Even when I get a new "PC" I plan to still use my GS. Heck, now when I
download PC stoff for the 486 I use ProTERM on my GS and then transfer
the file at 57600 to the PC. Sounds like the hard way but I've found no
PC comm software that is as easy to use and as powerful as ProTERM!
Telemate is the closestand it ain't that close.
