I have this "hard card" in my IIgs using a RamFast. It works great!
You can put the SCSI Expander card in any slot. It only uses the slot
for power. It has no ROM. In fact, it is a very basic card. It has
an 'empty' end with a socket for sliding the 2.5" drive on. You screw
the drive to the card with 2 screws (supplied). It has a single bank
of 4 dip switches. One switch for setting termination, three for selecting
SCSI ID.

If you buy the CMS SCSI card + 2.5" drive combo it will virtually be a
plug and play system. You should be up and running in a few minutes!

Good Luck,
