Apple did produce a 2400 bps modem that was external. These are widely
used at WSU. Most of them are being replaced now that we are wiring the
last few buildings for ethernet. I think they are Apple Personal Modem
2400's but I could be wrong. I was shocked the first time I saw one, as
I didn't know that they existed.
