The vulcan will support a DOS 3.3 partition, but why buy a used drive
with no hope of support. I would recommend that you stay with the SCSI
interface that Apple chose since drives are plentiful and reasonably
priced. Nothing beats the speed of a RamFast either. You can put a DOS
3.3 partition on any drive. DOS launcher is one way, though I'm not
familiar with it. Another way is to use DOS Master by Glenn Breden. This
program is available from Charlies Apple Seeds and creates an area on the
drive that can contain as many DOS 3.3 volumes as the drive can hold. It
also works well from within ProSel which if you have a hard drive, you
need ProSel. Hope this helps you decide.
