Scary RamFast errors

I just turned on my computer and got the 40-column screen
and the message
RAMFAST SCSI FATAL MEMORY FAULT CODE = 0C

I turned everything off, jiggled some connections, and now it's booted up 
ok.  Any enlightened advice out there?
