Thanks to everyone's responses, I've decided to slow down, man up, and learn
to program in C for the Apple IIe, and also hopefully learn more assembly as
well. I remembered that I had some Aztec C65 1.05C DOS-edition disks in
storage, so yesterday I got those out and a box of 10 blanks. I copied the
DOS disks to my Mac with ADT for backup, and I wrote out all 8 sides of the
newer Aztec C for ProDOS onto the blanks. With the 1st ed. K&R C book in
hand, I'm spending my nights reading and experimenting. Things will pick up
as the vacation times and holidays draw nearer.
