Here is one way to crack the FOCUS series of software. You will need
a modified version of Demuffin called Demuffin Plus which you may be able
get from the Computist BBS (206/472-0601) or my board- The Colony
(209/233-2937).
This technique uses a 128k IIe with 2 drives.
First use Copy II+ to format a Dos 3.3 disk and copy the Dos tracks on it.
Boot the disk Demuffin Plus is on and type the following:
CALL-151
C081 N C081
F800<F800.FFFFM
BLOADDEMUFFIN PLUS,A$D003
C082
Insert the original disk in drive 1 and the Dos 3.3 disk in drive 2.
6^P
Break into the Monitor using a non-maskable interupt card or hitting a
couple
Ctl-Resets as soon as you see the BASIC prompt ']".
C080
803<D003.EA00M
C082
803G
Use the = wildcard to copy all the files.
