They use the same card. Or at least they can use the same card. I talked a
buddy of mine who had picked up some spare unidisk and grey 3.5 cases as
service parts into giving me a home for my superdrive. He cracked open one
of the grey ones which had an 800K in it and we slapped in the superdrive.
It works just like one you coulda gotten at a dealer when they were available.
Then he put the 800K into a spare unidisk case.
