I have a couple of Disk II's and they've been very reliable but
I hate dealing with the ribbon cable connectors when I want to
transport my machine;  one of these days the flimsy ribbon
cable is going to break.

I prefer the Apple 5.25 with the DB-19 style connectors and heavy
duty cabling.
