When I added a SCSI drive to my II+ I purchased two cables. One was the
"standard" Apple SCSI cable with a DB-25 at one end and a DB-50 at the
other, which is available at any good computer outlet. The second cable I
had custom made locally which has the 50-pin molex connector on one end and
the matching DB-50 connector on the other end to mate with the first cable.
The second cable (50-conductor ribbon) is about six inches long, so I can
add a second molex connector at the three inch mark for a second drive at
a later date.
If you can find an Apple SCSI cable with a DB-25 at one end and the small
SCSI-2 connector at the other end to mate with the cable provided with your
drive, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
Hope this helps,
Curt
