As Netco King said, error $56 is "bad buffer address". This is an
extremely rare error, and can really only occur if there is a bug in
the program. This could be something as simple as not realising it is
out of memory and trying to allocate a buffer outside the usuable
area, or it could be trying to allocate an open file buffer somewhere
other than a page boundary, or trying to read past the end of a buffer.
Do you have the latest version of ProSel-8? (I have no idea what that is.)
If you are running from a copy of your original disk (which I hope you
are), try taking another copy - your copy of Mr. Fixit might have been
damaged.
