I bet he's talking about how the data librarian program for file transfers
only supports one volume. This is a serious limitation, and MDavis says the
next major update will have a replacement for DL. I never installed it on my
now defunct proline because of this.

Well with ProDOS 2.0, the device mapping can handle more volumes per device.
It should be able to handle as many volumes as Apple's partitioning setup
can support. The absolute limit is 14 drives, with 8 volumes simultaneously
online.
