The shift-key mod connects the shift key level from the
keyboard (usually tapped at the encoder connector) to
the PB2 input (NOT an annunciator).
It's worth remembering that you shouldn't use a joystick
that controls PB2 and push the shift key at the same time,
or you'll short +5 to ground! (Use a, say, 10K resistor
to connect the shift key to PB2 and this won't be a problem.)
//e's have either a "split dot" etch near the aux keyboard
connector, which can be bridged (with a resistor) to install
the shift-key mod, OR (later models) have a "bowtie" etch
which already provides the shift-key mod (with the "short"
warning above applicable).
