Epson ActionLaser 1100

Please help me!  I just got an Epson ActionLaser 1100 today.  Although 
the output in the default font is beautiful, I would also like to be able 
to use one of the other built in fonts.  I'm using AppleWorks 4.0 and am 
attempting to enter special printer codes based on some of the commands 
in the printer's manual.  Of course Epson's "help" line is constantly 
busy, so I havent been able to ask them for input.

The Epson is connected to my enhanced Apple //e via a generic parallel 
card made by Computer Associates I believe.  The problem doesn;t seem to 
be the connection though.  I just need to know what commands to send in 
what order?  Any ideas?
