There was a card called the "PC Transporter" for the Apple II GS, which was
basically an 8086 (or something of the sort) motherboard that plugged into
one of the GS slots.  It was made by Applied Engineering and needed extra
parts to work right (like pc floppy drives).  Too bad it didn't have a 386
on it.  With the 1.25 megs my GS has, and the 768k it game with, it could
run Linux :-)
