The story so far: My wife and I have been trying to use an
(original) LC with an (original) IIe emulator card. I just
recently downloaded the newest IIe emulation software and
repartitioned my hard disk, so now we can sort of move things
onto the hard disk (using CopyII+). She's gotten some things to
run from the hard disk, so long as they don't involve BRUN. It
looks like most programs will require extensive modification,
though.
One problem is, we have this ProDOS emulator, and we've never
used ProDOS, nor do we have a manual for it. We've only used
DOS 3.2 (or was it 3.3?). So: where can I get a ProDOS manual?
Does Apple still sell them? Does someone here have one they'll
sell me for a reasonable price?
My wife has been modifying a few of the Basic programs to use
the correct disk, but she's having to do it by retyping lines in
Basic. This is unpleasant. We can copy the file to the Mac
side and look at it, but there is other information interspersed
with the Basic text; surely someone has built a simple editor to
work with this? Or at least decoded the format?
I'm having a lot of trouble getting information about this -- we
must be one of maybe ten people on the planet with a IIe
emulator card -- so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
