My 3.5 drive puked on my this morning. I put a disk in, and the finder
took and ungodly amount of time to recognize it, so I rebooted. Now if
there is a disk in there when I try to boot, the machine locks up, trying
to recognize the disk. (The disk is still spinning, but the boot process
stops there). Any ideas as to why this would happen? I really don't
want to have to replace it or send it out for repair.
