Well, I got as far as "there is a jump table up front" and then gave up :)

Forget Amiga ... however, I think I could dredge up enough enthusiasm to 
attempt a port of extfs2 (or whatever it is called now), the Linux file 
system. Fully documented, source code available. What more do you want :)

Yay! Great! *drool* This would be immensely useful for all the GNO/ME owners 
... or anyone else, for that matter. _Finally_ the possibility to have a 
well-documented file system with all the neat features one wants (links) and 
utilities for maintaining it to boot (quite unlike HFS).
