  The RamFAST doesn't know to stop a backup when you've run out of
tape.  Is it possible during some of these attempts you tried to back
up more data than you had tape for?

  You didn't say which ROM version you had, but if you have v3.01e
then this is probably due to a bug that caused the RF to not
properly identify backup images. I have been doing testing today
that pretty much certifies what you said, that you can backup and
restore images fine with 3.01e, but not mount them.  When the testing
is complete I'll post up a big summary of my findings.
