Logic boards don't have serial numbers they have revision numbers. There are
two varieties which are candidates for the enhancement, 820-0064-A and
820-0064-B. Revision A boards don't support DHR graphics, among other things.
Revision B boards work with the enhancement just fine. You find the revision
number on the back edge of the board, behind the slots.
To my knowledge any other revisions like 820-0087-A and the revision which is
is used in the grey //e are already enhanced.

I'd call around to dealers and see if they have any leftovers. Or get lucky
like I did when I found a rube with some Apple II hardware he picked up at
an Apple auction and wanted to unload it. I got an enhancement kit for $5,
a slinky memory card for $10, and a VOC for $25, all complete and new-in-the-
box.
