I just saw this post from you, so I don't know if you have posted before.
I gather you are having troubles with seeing color on your apple 2?  If it was
 a //GS, and you are using the RCA jack to a color monitor, make sure the
control panel is set to color monitor. 

If this is for a different apple 2, please ignore this :)
