Apple IIGS CDROMS HELP

High I recently bought 2 apple IIGS systems, one was for a young friend, 
and the other was by accident.  I never back out on a deal once I've said 
yes, except under certain circumstances.  Well anyways I now have a IIGS 
it has an Apple SCSI card installed, can I hook up any SCSI CDROM to it, 
and install the 6.0.1 cdrom drivers, or will this not work.

Secondly are there any CDROM's available that have mirrors of ftp sites 
of all the latest and greatest drivers, programs, and shareware stuff on 
CD's wether readable by PC or the IIGS.

Any info would be appreciated.
