It's because you (and I) have a ROM 03.  You'd think that after all this
time and all their incompatible software that NF would've gotten a clue that
not everyone has a ROM 1.  Hacking to fix is underway, but the dumb fuckers
put in more security code than actual demo so it's slow going.  If I can
get it fixed, I'll upload it to cco or something...
