GNO is a UNIX-like shell that lays over the top of GS/OS and allows
true multitasking on your GS. There is a large passle of "third"
party utilties ported over from true UNIX, so it feels more and
more like the real thing.
TCP/IP is supposed to be in the works, along with other cool stuff
that would make direct connection of GS to INTERNET a possibility.
All in all, GNO is one of the single most useful applications you
can buy for your IIGS (it's fun compiling in the background as you
write the Dox.. or use a word processor as you download in background.)
You can get it by e-mailing Bazyar@netcom.com, or GSpluzDIZ@delphi.com
I think it sells for about $90 but I could be off some.
