Chris Iwane:  The 1992 Apple II Guide and "Apple 16, A Comprehensive
Guide to Apple IIGS Computing" (by Hank Harrison) both have a history on
Apple Computers, Inc, as well as info on the ///.  Hank is rather funny,
in that he is obviously bitter towards the IBM platform and users, which
can be seen in his references to the IBMs as the "artichoke truck",
along with less obscure insults.  It's from 1987, so it's a bit dated,
but still good reading.
