What sort of files are you talking about? I assume they are BinSCII
segments. If so, you don't have to put them all in one file: all
BinSCII decoders are quite able to deal with separately decoded parts,
as long as you have all the parts decoded before trying to use the
file produced by the decoder.
Have you read the FAQ for comp.sys.apple2? It covers this, and your
other question about FTP sites.
