The subject line pretty much says it. I hooked up a 5 meg ProFile to a
IIe last night. It seems to work fine, but I can't boot from it. I
tried putting the interface card in both slots 5 and 7. The only thing
that happens is the 5.25 drive (a DuoDisk) attempts to boot every time. If
there is no disk in it, the 5.25 just spins constantly. If I unplug the
5.25, the ProFile still doesn't boot. (Yes, I did put Prodos and some
system files in the root directory). Am I trying something impossible
here? Most of my experience is with IIc's and GS's. I don't know IIe's
well. Any tips much appreciated.
