How 2 avoid CompUSA envy?????????

I don't know why I do it. I still look for Apple II stuff when I go to
malls--I'm drawn into computer stores. Of course, they don't have anything.
It's very strange how the Apple II is blacklisted.

Went to a bookstore in the same mall. 856 books on PCs and Macs...Let's under-
estimate and say 1% of all computer USERS are Apple II guys and chicks.
Two or three books would be cool. I even looked in Computer Buying guides--
The IBM 8088 PC is listed, but not a single Apple II.

I'm not retarded. I don't EXPECT to see Apple II stuff anywhere commercially.

So I went to KB toys, which sells a lot of ancient software cheap. They had
PC disks that were equivalent to "Pong"--that old--but nothing for a II.
A lot of the old PC boxes mentioned the IIe,c,gs, but only IBM disks were
enclosed. But I wasn't really EXPECTING to see Apple II stuff.

I went into the Radio Shack, which still sells Apple II compatible joysticks,
then I went to another computer store. Some lady asked the cleark if they
sold software for a IIe. The clerk said try Sears. I should have offered to
copy some stuff for her (after getting proper lisences, always), since I
heard her say: I'm not going to buy this Apple if I can't find software for it.

But I thought about it: If she's never owned an Apple II before, why should
I tempt her (like the snake in Eden) into this corrupted world?
I did check Sears, hoping, running...
