Appleworks 3.0 --> Mac Word 5.0

    I know this topic has been taking a beating lately but I just can't get it
to work.  People keep saying that you can do this but I can't for some reason.
I've tried printing ascii to a disk from appleworks and then putting it in a
mac but the mac just wants to initialize it.  My GS won't write to a mac
formated disk either.  Everyone says that a mac will read prodos but I guess
mine won't.  What's up?

    Hooking the two together is out of the question and buying software is
too.  What other options do I have?  If anyone has done this please tell me.
