As a laptop.
An Extended //E laptop with 512K RAM and a very small hard drive, sold
off-the-shelf with Prosel, Davex, Appleworks, and Proterm - at 4Mhz
processor like the Laser 128EX (speaking of computers whose
manufacturers would gladly sell the rights...) will do 90% of what
anyone using ANY laptop ever wants to do, and be friendly yet powerful,
and, possibly, SO cheap...
Then again, the forces that have caused the pc industry to become so
awfully standardized in the last ten years are still at work, stronger
than ever.
