Didn't someone above mention a "Trackstar Plus Board" made by Diamond
that would allow a PC to read Apple Disks, providing you had an Apple
5.25" drive.  The card is no longer made, but you could post and ad in the
Apple Marketplace.
 
If your disks are 3.5", you could get a Mac to convert II-->Mac-->Dos.
 
I assume they are ASCII.
