Loading up a IIe.
Ack! I recently tried to load up a IIe and I think I gave it a bad
case of brain strain. Even after unloading it, it runs fine for a
while, then crashes. I tried to locate what, if anything, I fried
but to no avail. So, I pulled the enhancement kit and dropped it in
my spare IIe, but I'm leary of doing it again. This is what I'd like
to put in this system...
Slot 1: Silent Type controller card.
Slot 2: AE Datalink 2400 or a Super Serial Card.
Slot 3: Empty.
Slot 4: TimeMaster H.O. card (just the clock).
Slot 5: Mouse controller card.
Slot 6: DuoDisk controller card.
Slot 7: Sider controller card.
Aux: Sequential Systems 1 Mb card.
I also have a System Saver slung on the side. At the moment I've
but the mouse card installed. I may also replace the Sider with an Apple
High Speed SCSI card. Any thoughts? Am I risking another brain fry, or
should the IIe take it?
