Does it also print in proportional mode in other AppleWorks modules and
in other programs, or is this problem limited to AppleWorks and/or the
Spreadsheet?
If it is always printing in proportional mode, there could be a fault
with the printer. Try running the self-test, which should come out in
10 or 12 cpi draft, according to the DIP switch setting. Also try
changing the "print quality" using the button on the front of the
ImageWriter. You should be able to toggle between the draft,
"correspondence" and NLQ fonts.
