IMVHO, Apple II is forever. But the reality is that, Apple II is really
dead in Hong Kong. I bought an Enhanced IIe in 1988, and am still
keeping it. Most of my friends once owned an Apple II, but gradually
turned to a PC. All I need to do to play a game was just insert the
disk, and switch on. But what I experienced from my friends was that,
to play a game, DIR/W, perhaps you may find something like PLAY.EXE,
perhaps you may not. Spending several minutes to start a game, I
decided that I would hate PC forever.
Especially after I experienced Windows when I was using a Mac.
Now I am keeping my old but clean and lovely IIe under my bed. But I
still wanna buy Mac only which prefixed "LC". Only Mac LC series let me
install a IIe card.
IMVHO again, I love Apple II and Mac. But no more Apple II software in
Hong Kong. I can only read comp.binaries.apple2 and download from some
certain sites. So please write more Apple II software, not only GS!
