VCR --> RGB monitor??

    Is there any way that I can hook my AppleColor RGB monitor (model 
number A2M6014) to my VCR?  The monitor that I use with my Apple IIe
has a RCA-female type socket on it, and so does the computer.  I just
use a standard video dubbing cable to connect the two.  My IIGS also
has the same type of plug, but the monitor doesn't use it.  It has a 
15 pin female socket, but only 8 of the 15 pins are used.  Is there
some sort of adaptor I could make/buy that will allow me to plug my
RGB monitor into a VCR which uses the standard video/audio in/out
RCA type plugs?

    I'd appreciate any help or suggestions you could give me...
