It is possible... I think. Apparently GNO/ME allows you to
multitask one 16-bit application and multitask several 8-bit applications
at once, the only limit being available RAM. If I recall correctly, one
of its selling points was this feature, and that the particaular example
your stating was given. I really don't know much about this program, but
I'm investigating and will email you the results.
