   Such a thing already exists if you have access to AW. Just "Print
to Text File" from Appleworks ("classic", or just save as text from
AWGS), then upload that. I think the GNO program converts AWGS files
to sorta text (includes codes for underline, boldface, etc on
terminals that can handle it) format.

   A program to go from AW classic to text or rtf would be nice, but
it could really be a can of worms. AW files have text in them, but the
formatting codes are binary. (It keeps the length of the current line
and previous, I think at the start of each line). Therefore, if people
upload AW files as ascii files to unix, they'll be munged and a
converter couldn't handle them properly.
