VGA dilemma... oh boy

Ok kids!  I need your help...  I have found a great VGA monitor to buy, 
but...  I go back to school on Jan 6.  I can only bring one screen back 
with me, and I want it to be the VGA, if you know what I mean... BUT, the 
way things are going, I don't know if the SecondSight card will be 
shipped to me before I leave, so if I take the VGA screen with me, with 
no card, I have no screen.  My question is, is there ANY possible way to 
temporarily hook the VGA screen to the GS with some kinda cable?  
(probably not)  or, could somebody please hurry up and ship the 
SecondSight card?  :)   I'm really in a bind.
