Hopefully someone knows this information.

I thought of Tony Diaz and several others. :-)

I have a fellow that doesn't frequent USENET who would
like to know what to use to reseal the locking screws
after getting the alignment set on Disk II and variant
drives.

He mentioned that he would like to try Loctite 222.
Does anyone think this would work? He is having to
repeat the alignment process after a period of time.

In the dim recesses of my mind, ISTR something called Glyptol (sp?) that was specifically designed to lock trim pots.

Bingo. A red varnish used for supressing corona in high-voltage
circuits.

I think it got used for "locking" just because it was already
on the "bench". ;-)
