OK. I'll give that much. But hey, I'll add another 2 cents worth. While
I was the SYSOP for the BBS mentioned below (ruinning ProLine v3), I had
three UG members (MACH) purchase the LineLink (well over a year now), and
as far as I know, each of them is still providing the purchaser with good
service. In fact, one of them is now connected to a 7100 (Power MAC for
those of you wondering). Also, one was purchased by Steve Wehyrich of
Apple History, GeniLamp and A2-Central fame.
There can be bad units of anything, and probably more than not in less
expensive models, but it ain't necessarily always the case. Afterall,
'Model t' for all their faults did usher in the age of mass production,
and still live on today.
