I'm posting my reply and CC'ing a copy to you.

I spoke to Vitesse this morning, and ordered Faxination. They hope to
be releasing it next week.
I haven't heard anything about Paul Parkhurst's project, or Richard
Wifall's. [I hope I named the right people!]
As an interesting little project, I'm seeing if I can write simple fax
send and receive programs before next week. :-)

Unknown. It certainly isn't available yet. The holdup mainly seems
to be new features required in the GNO kernel (BSD socket support,
which has been promised for GNO 2.0.5). Jawaid has been extremely
busy trying to get the Second Sight card out, and hasn't had time to
work on GNO.

QD II will work with the Second Sight card, but only in standard IIgs
video modes (640/320 by 200). Higher resolution modes require custom
software. There is no video input signal (that I have heard of). The
card hasn't been released yet, but is imminent.

No idea. I haven't heard anything.

GS+ is going strong. I don't subscribe to Softdisk, but I haven't
heard anything about them disappearing.
