I think the original poster really meant "CrossWorks" from SoftSpoken.
I've used this to convert AppleWorks files to WordPerfect files,
and it does so quite nicely.  It supports other MSDOS word processors
and databases.

You can either connect a PC and an Apple II with the included serial
cables and then run the software on both sides -- or if you can somehow
get the AppleWorks files to MSDOS, CrossWorks will take them that way
too. (I used an Apple II and a PC on a Novell Network)
