Well, I'm also glad to see a ][gs version of Wolf 3-D!
But, I picked this up from Id software about Doom, if your
also a fan of the Amiga computer, this might interest you too:
There will never be a port to these machines:
Amiga, Sinclair 2000, Apple //gs, TRS-80.
But please note, here is some else from the Amiga workgroups:

Now, I've seen doom run on a 486, and IF they have Done Wolf 3-D,
then why can't they do doom?
and WHY do I have an itching that SOMONE should do a port of Doom,
and use a Second Sight/TurboRez graphic mode?
TurboRez SHOULD be able to handle the wall scaling, and with it's
256 color pallete, I don't really see any problem of colors.
and I DON'T think sound would be THAT much of a hassle:>
