I live in the area. You are correct in assuming that the greater Detroit
area went through an area code split. Quality's new area code is 810.
The 313 area code worked up until recently during a "grace period" but now
the phone number assignments of the two area code are starting to overlap
so you could concievably end up making a long distance "wrong number" call

ONCE AGAIN, QUALITY'S NEW AREA CODE IS 810.
