Second Sight and the IIe

I read a few comments sometime ago about the new VGA card going to be
able to  be used in an Apple //e.
Is this still true? Is someone with this computer actually going to buy
this card?
By the way, I e-mailed Jason Harper, the author of IIGIF, and he said he
_could_ consider updating this program to use the new card (anyone
 interested?) Then I e-mailed Jawaid Bazyar telling him that and he didn't
respond (or at least he hasn't yet).
I suppose Sequential Systems is really not interested in supporting
the IIe with this card, oh well...
