The IIGS version of the Thunderscan software is hopelessly buggy. I much prefer to use the 8-bit software, even on my GS. It's user interface is clumsy, but it's solid and it works. One neat aspect of the 8-bit software, it lets me scan stuff using my IIc+, and display it on my GS. -John
