Cable Question

Well, after much looking and frustration, I now have Internet access
again (was cut off after the holiday) and I can post the question that
caused me so much grief this weekend.  Does anybody know where I can
buy cable that goes between an Apple ImageWriter II and an IBM Serial
Port (either male or female)?  I looked in Office Depot, Staples,
CompUSA, I called Computer City and two other IBM dealers I know, and
NOBODY had this.  So, I managed to special order it through CompUSA
this evening, but it'll take 10-14 days, and costs $24!!!  Does
anybody know where I can get this cable cheaper, or where I can get a
8 pin gender changer?  (I bought a cable at Office Depot, thinking it
was the right one, but both it and the printer are male, and
well... let's just say I don't have homosexual equipment, so this
connection won't work.... :-)  If I can just find a connector betweeen
the two 8 pin male sides, I'd appreciate that as well.  Thanks for any
help....
