.wav files are raw binary sound files with a small header at the front.
If you don't mind having a slight click at the start of the sound you can
simply convert the sound (as described above) for use on the GS, but if
you want to do things properly you should either use an editor or ProDOS
(for sounds up to 32K) to remove theheader (around 20 bytes I think).
Ps. .wav files come in 8 and 16-bit varieties, and only the 8-bit ones
can be used by the GS without serious editing.
